Himachal Pradesh government considers stipend hike for MBBS interns

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced that the state government is considering an increase in the internship stipend paid to MBBS students.

Speaking at Dr Radhakrishnan Government Medical College in Hamirpur, Sukhu stated that necessary budgetary provisions will be made to implement the proposed revision.

The Chief Minister also outlined ongoing infrastructure projects at the medical college, including hostels, an auditorium, a super-speciality block, and a cancer hospital.
