Israeli air strikes killed at least 11 people and wounded 19 in southern Lebanon on Saturday, marking the deadliest escalation since a June ceasefire.
The attacks struck the Nabatieh district, specifically targeting Ansar and Deir ez-Zahrani, where seven and four people were killed respectively, including three children.
Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz stated that Israeli forces currently control approximately 700 square kilometres, or 7 percent of Lebanese territory, amid ongoing regional tensions.
