US special envoy Steve Witkoff arrived in Russia on Wednesday to meet President Vladimir Putin for discussions on proposals to end the years-long conflict in Ukraine.
The visit follows Witkoff's 'constructive' meetings in Oslo with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who confirmed that intelligence sharing with the US regarding missile attacks is now operational.
While Putin has not publicly commented, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated the Kremlin will listen to the proposals but ruled out any political concessions.
