Singer Mika Singh demanded an apology from Uttarakhand Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal for publicly reprimanding and humiliating his brother Daler Mehndi on stage.
Daler Mehndi was interrupted mid-performance at the Uttarakhand Tourism and Development Fair in New Tehri after the minister alleged the singer was intoxicated.
Minister Subodh Uniyal defended his actions by stating the singer appeared disoriented, unable to stand, and was only lip-syncing despite being paid ₹35 lakh.
