Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange Patil has set a firm deadline for a protest march to Mumbai, demanding the issuance of Kunbi certificates to the Maratha community.
On the second day of his fast, Jarange rejected government overtures, insisting that the state must provide legal validity to the community's demand for OBC status.
Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has reached out to the activist, signaling a willingness to discuss legally viable solutions to prevent the planned march to the state capital.
