Moscow Restaurant Bombing Kills Three and Injures 21

An explosion outside the Balzi Rossi Italian restaurant in central Moscow killed three people and injured at least 21 others on Saturday evening.

The blast occurred near Kudrinkskaya Square shortly before 8 pm local time when an unidentified woman carrying a homemade bomb was stopped by security.

Russian authorities have not identified the victims or the perpetrators, though investigators are probing whether the device was intended for guests on the restaurant's outdoor terrace.
