Samsung Galaxy Buds Receive FDA Clearance as Hearing Aids

Samsung received US FDA clearance for a new Hearing Aid feature on its Galaxy Buds3 Pro and Galaxy Buds4 Pro, launching in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The feature allows users with mild to moderate hearing loss to use the earbuds as over-the-counter hearing aids without a prescription.

The system includes a five-minute Hearing Test that generates an audiogram, enabling the earbuds to provide personalized sound amplification and noise reduction.
