Flipkart generates 2.5 lakh festive jobs, targets Tier-2 markets

Flipkart created over 2.5 lakh direct and indirect seasonal jobs ahead of the festive period, with 75,000 positions for first-time workforce entrants.

Last-mile delivery operations will account for about 60% of the new job opportunities across more than 7,000 Ekart facilities.

The company's quick-commerce service, Flipkart Minutes, has expanded to 1,200 micro-fulfilment centres across more than 150 cities.
