Accused in Saif Ali Khan Stabbing Case Seeks Guilty Plea

Mohammad Shariful Islam, the accused in the January 16, 2025, stabbing of actor Saif Ali Khan, has filed an application in a Mumbai court to plead guilty.

The court has directed the prosecution to submit a response to the plea and adjourned the hearing for the 54-year-old actor's case until September 11.

Islam, a Bangladeshi national currently in judicial custody, faces charges including robbery with a deadly weapon and violations of the Foreigners Act following the incident at Khan's Bandra apartment.
