Ceasefire Extended Across Ukraine's Kherson Region to Aid Civilians

A humanitarian ceasefire initiated to supply Oleshky has been extended across the wider southern Kherson region without reported breaches.

Brokered by figures including US First Lady Melania Trump and Pope Leo XIV, the truce aims to allow mine clearance and aid deliveries.

Evacuations for residents wishing to leave are planned for Friday, while between 1,700 and 2,000 people remain trapped in Oleshky.
