An Air India flight from Frankfurt to Delhi with 293 passengers and 13 crew members on board was diverted to Jaipur after transmitting a squawk 7500 hijack alert.
The Ahmedabad Air Traffic Control picked up the alert while the aircraft flew over the Mumbai Flight Information Region, prompting a security response and a DGCA probe.
The aircraft landed safely at Jaipur International Airport and was cleared by security agencies before resuming its journey to Delhi with the same crew and passengers.
