Netanyahu Compares October 7 Attack to Multiple 9/11s at UN General Assembly

Addressing the United Nations General Assembly, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the October 7 Hamas attack was proportionally equal to 16 9/11 attacks.

Netanyahu reported that approximately 1,200 people were killed and 251 individuals were taken hostage during the offensive led by Hamas.

The address was met with walkouts by several delegates in protest, while the Gaza Health Ministry reported a death toll of at least 73,922 Palestinians in the subsequent military campaign.
