Maruti Suzuki led the automotive sector in July 2026, reporting a 33% increase in production and domestic sales crossing the 2 lakh unit mark.
Other major manufacturers, including Hyundai and Hero MotoCorp, also reported high double-digit growth, with Hyundai recording its highest-ever monthly sales of 54,210 units.
The industry-wide growth is attributed to strong festive season demand and improved supply chain stability, signaling a positive outlook for the remainder of the fiscal year.
