88% of Indian enterprises expect demand for AI-focused engineers to rise by 2030

A report by Scaler and CyberMedia Research indicates that 88% of Indian enterprises expect the demand for Forward Deployed Engineers to increase by 2030.

While 77% of multinational corporations plan to hire FDE roles within the next year, 90% of surveyed software engineers noted a lack of structured pathways or specialized preparation programmes.

The study found that engineers in dedicated FDE roles can earn annual packages between ₹40 lakh and ₹1 crore, outperforming standard engineering positions by up to 30%.
