At Least One Dead in Overnight Drone Attack Targeting St Petersburg Oil Facilities

An overnight attack on St Petersburg killed at least one person, injured five others, and targeted two oil facilities including the St Petersburg Oil Terminal and Ruchyi oil depot.

Governor Alexander Beglov reported that 12 apartment buildings and two homes were damaged, while Pulkovo Airport was temporarily closed due to the strikes.

The Russian defence ministry claimed to have shot down over 1,000 Ukrainian drones overnight, amid heightened infrastructure attacks ahead of the winter season.
