A Ukrainian drone strike on the Taneko oil refinery in Nizhnekamsk, Tatarstan, killed 13 people, including a child, and injured at least 75 others on Monday.
The facility, operated by Tatneft, is located over 1,000 kilometres (620 miles) from the Ukrainian border, marking one of the deadliest long-range attacks by Kyiv since the war began.
In a separate incident on August 10, Russian artillery fire in the village of Bugaivka, Kharkiv region, killed five civilians, according to the local prosecutor's office.
