Gunman Opens Fire Near High School in Western Turkiye, Wounding 11

An armed assailant opened fire near a vocational and technical high school in Turgutlu district on Tuesday, wounding at least 11 people.

Justice Minister Akin Gurlek stated that at least two of the injured are in serious condition, and the suspected shooter was arrested.

Turkish authorities took the suspect's parents and grandfather into custody as part of an investigation into the shooting.
