Schaumburg High School Football Player Hospitalized in Critical Condition

A high school football player from Schaumburg High School was hospitalized in critical condition following an injury sustained during a game against Antioch High School on Friday night.

Emergency crews were called to the field at approximately 9 p.m. to provide medical assistance before transporting the student to Condell Medical Center for urgent care.

Community High School District 117 Superintendent Jeff Feucht confirmed the incident, and the player underwent an immediate CT scan upon arrival at the medical facility.
