Maharashtra's food safety department has suspended the licenses of several dark store facilities operated by Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, and Zepto.
The crackdown, led by official Tukaram Mundhe, uncovered severe hygiene violations including cockroach and lizard infestations at multiple distribution centers.
The state has also shut down several Domino’s and Pizza Hut outlets found to have grease residue and poor sanitation standards.
