Ceres Unified School District held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Central Valley High School athletic stadium, a $16.2 million project that concluded its first phase of construction.
The facility, which broke ground in June 2025, provides the school with its first home field since opening in 2005, featuring handicapped-accessible bleachers, restrooms, and a designated wheelchair seating area.
The school is scheduled to host its first home football game against Pitman Pride on August 28 at 7 p.m., with future phases costing $5 million planned for additional concessions and facilities.
