The Union health ministry introduced new reforms for the NEET-PG 2026 exam, including an expanded choice of test locations and a revised pattern of 180 questions in 210 minutes.
A total of 2,73,183 candidates have registered for the August 30 examination, which will be conducted across 340 cities and over 1,300 centres with enhanced biometric security.
Candidates will be notified of their allotted test city three weeks in advance, and the government has deployed 60,000 functionaries to ensure a secure, transparent testing process.
