National Institute of Open Schooling offers flexible learning and exam choices

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) offers secondary and senior secondary students an academic framework built around flexibility and subject choice.

Eligible learners can choose between five and seven subjects with one compulsory language, and are not required to appear for all subject exams simultaneously.

Students can also utilise an On-Demand Examination system to take tests between regular April and October cycles or reappear to improve their marks.
