
An Army ambulance carrying the body of a subedar-major collided with a stationary truck on the Purvanchal Expressway in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, killing four people.
The accident occurred around 8 a.m. near the 79.6 km mark in the Haliyapur area when the vehicle was traveling from Chandigarh to Deoria district.
The soldier's son Gaurav Singh and driver Jaspal died on the spot, while his brother Rajan Chaudhary and nephew Ram Samujh Singh succumbed to injuries during treatment.
