Tejas Shirse Advances to Commonwealth Games 110m Hurdles Final

Tejas Shirse qualified for the men's 110m hurdles final at the 2026 Commonwealth Games on July 27 after finishing third in his heat with a time of 13.76 seconds.

Murali Sreeshankar and Lokesh Satyanathan secured spots in the men's long jump final with best efforts of 8.01m and 7.77m respectively, while Sajan Prakash reached the 200m butterfly final.

Boxer Sachin Siwach progressed to the men's 60kg quarter-finals following a 4-1 split-decision victory over England's William Hewitt, while Gurindervir Singh exited the 100m event after finishing 28th.
