₹13,724 Crore Railway Infrastructure Works Underway in Guntur District

Railway infrastructure projects totaling an estimated ₹13,724.70 crore are currently underway across Andhra Pradesh's Guntur district to improve regional connectivity.

Union Minister Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar stated that the initiative includes eight road-over-bridges totaling ₹745.62 crore and major line-doubling works.

The newly initiated Gaddipadu ROB project aims to eliminate railway gate congestion on a level crossing that handles 78 trains and nearly 1.6 million vehicle units daily.
