Houthi Missile Attack on Cargo Ship Kills Six in Bab al-Mandeb

Houthi rebels killed at least six people and wounded 10 others in a double-tap ballistic missile strike on the Egyptian-owned cargo ship Tihamah in the Bab al-Mandeb strait.

The attack involved three initial missiles followed by a second strike on rescue personnel, resulting in the deaths of three Pakistani nationals, one Indonesian, and two government troops.

Yemen's internationally recognised government condemned the strike, while the US military separately fired Hellfire missiles at the Panama-flagged Vela Nova in the Gulf of Oman on Tuesday.
