Chronic therapies grew 16%, while acute therapies rose 11% with lower demand for monsoon-linked respiratory treatments and anti-infectives.
Industry leader Sun Pharmaceutical Industries grew 14%, while Dr Reddy's Laboratories recorded the fastest growth among top firms at 22%.
