Private Jet Makes Emergency Landing In Nigeria After Door Detaches

A Challenger 604 private jet operated by Triton Aviation made an emergency landing in Nigeria after a door detached mid-air shortly after takeoff.

The aircraft was climbing through 3,500 feet when the crew issued a Mayday call and returned safely to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

All nine people on board escaped uninjured, and the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau recovered the missing door for examination.
