Forces of the Saudi-led coalition recaptured several key areas around the Bab el-Mandeb Strait from Iran-backed Houthi rebels.
Yemeni officials confirmed that allied forces retook the crucial town of Dhubab north of the strait, alongside the towns of Bab and Hadeid.
The major offensive involved 100 fighter jets providing air protection, backed by US intelligence sharing and target planning support.
