RJD MP Sanjay Yadav writes to ECI requesting transparency in Bihar MLC poll counting

RJD Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Yadav wrote to the Chief Election Commissioner on Monday to ensure a transparent counting process for eight seats in the Bihar Legislative Council.

Yadav urged that all disputed ballot papers be examined and decided under applicable election rules before first-preference counting begins.

He demanded that violet pens identical to those used by voters during polling be barred from counting officers and agents to prevent tampering.
