Two Dead and Multiple Injured in Minneapolis Downtown Shooting

At least seven people were shot, including two police officers, during a violent incident at an apartment building on 15 E. Grant St. in downtown Minneapolis on Wednesday.

Authorities confirmed two fatalities in the shooting, which occurred near the Minneapolis Convention Center and prompted a large-scale emergency response from state and local law enforcement.

This incident follows a similar September 2025 shooting at the same location where two men were killed, adding to recent tensions in the city following January immigration-related protests.
