Arunachal Forum Alleges SBI Software Denies Scheduled Tribe Option to Christians

The Arunachal Christian Forum alleged that State Bank of India digital software automatically classifies Christian applicants as General, disabling the Scheduled Tribe option.

The forum warned the SBI regional office in Itanagar of impending agitations if technical corrections are not made within 15 days.

ACF asserted that tribal status in Arunachal Pradesh is independent of religious affiliation under the Constitution Order of 1950, while SBI officials stated they are examining the matter.
