Actor-filmmaker Aamir Khan will receive the Screen Icon Award at the 37th Singapore International Film Festival, held from October 21 to November 1.
He will attend a special 25th-anniversary screening of his Oscar-nominated 2001 period sports drama 'Lagaan' alongside director Ashutosh Gowariker.
Khan will also participate in the festival's 'In Conversation With' series alongside other prominent Asian filmmakers and actors.
