Two missiles struck the airport in Yemen's port city of Aden on Friday night, with police blaming Iran-backed Houthi rebels for the attack.
The projectiles landed about 500 metres away from a departing Yemenia Airways aircraft, prompting the quick evacuation of passengers without any reported casualties.
The incident follows a strike on a palace complex in Aden on Thursday that killed at least five people amid an escalation in the regional conflict.
