Sensex Gains 287 Points as Healthcare and Pharma Stocks Rally

The BSE Sensex rose 286.98 points to close at 77,656.09 on Tuesday, while the Nifty50 index climbed 115.50 points to settle at 24,334.55.

Market gains were driven by strong performance in the healthcare, pharma, and PSU bank sectors, with Adani Enterprises and Max Healthcare emerging as top Nifty50 gainers.

Despite the broader market rally, the Nifty SmallCap index saw a slight decline of 0.1 percent, while private bank and metal stocks underperformed during the session.
