Inner Manipur MP Angomcha Bimol Akoijam was dismissed as a JNU professor following internal sexual harassment allegations and plans to challenge the order in court.
Akoijam disputed the inquiry's procedures, stating the original grievance concerned pedagogy and pointing to the unusually brief duration of proceedings.
While the BJP organized protests against the lawmaker, Akoijam asserted that the university targeted him for speaking out on Northeast issues.
