Karnataka Mandates HIV Screening in All Colleges

The Karnataka government has mandated HIV screening camps in all engineering and degree colleges following reports of over 7,000 students testing positive.

The initiative, led by the Karnataka State AIDS Prevention Society (KSAPS), aims to increase awareness and provide early access to treatment for affected students.

College administrations have been instructed to facilitate these camps immediately, ensuring confidentiality and providing counseling services to those who test positive.
