HR startup Rippling filed a lawsuit on Monday accusing Runlayer of infringing on three of its patents following a failed year-long product trial.
The legal action follows a previous lawsuit filed by Runlayer last month, which accused Rippling of breach of contract and stealing product ideas.
Runlayer, which has raised $42 million, bundles an MCP gateway with cybersecurity features, while Rippling is developing its own competing MCP server product.
