The Indian Space Research Organisation announced the launch of the NVS-03 navigation satellite from Sriharikota on October 30, serving as the third satellite in the IRNSS series.
The 2,250 kg satellite carries an indigenous atomic clock and signals providing coverage up to 1,500 km, launching aboard the GSLV-F18 vehicle into Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit.
This flight follows corrective measures implemented by an Apex Committee after the failure of the NVS-02 mission in January 2025 due to a pyro valve drive signal issue.
