Accused arrested after minor girl raped at Nellore temple

A minor girl with a disability was allegedly raped at a place of worship in Nellore city on Sunday by a bathroom cleaning worker named Jashua.

Local residents apprehended the accused after an emergency call to the 112 helpline, and police arrested him following complaints.

Authorities registered a case under Section 64 of the BNS and the POCSO Act, admitting the victim to a hospital for treatment.
