The European Union has commissioned the deployment of the LUMI-AI supercomputer from Bull, valued at €388 million, to meet surging regional demand.
The system will be powered by AMD processors, providing a sovereign AI infrastructure for European research institutions and industrial applications.
This project is part of the EuroHPC initiative, designed to reduce Europe's reliance on foreign AI computing power and enhance local technological capabilities.
