Karnataka minister B. Nagendra resigned from the state cabinet on Saturday amid ongoing investigations into a scam involving an alleged ₹94.73 crore transaction.
KPCC president B.K. Hariprasad defended the resignation as a moral decision, claiming the Enforcement Directorate jailed Nagendra without sufficient evidence of his involvement.
While some party leaders like K.N. Rajanna criticized his initial cabinet induction, PWD minister Satish Jarkiholi stated the matter is now closed following the resignation.
