Poll Body Clarifies Raghav Chadha's Shift to Delhi Electoral Roll

The Delhi Chief Electoral Officer clarified on September 10, 2026, that BJP Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha's name was added to the Rajinder Nagar constituency voter list on September 2 after he filed Form 6.

The AAP accused the Election Commission of backdoor entry, pointing out that Chadha's name was marked as 'permanently shifted' in the Punjab draft roll on August 13 and omitted from Delhi's August 31 draft.

The poll body explained that approved Form 6 applications immediately update online databases in continuation of the draft roll's serial numbers, placing Chadha at serial number 747 of booth 46 in Rajinder Nagar.
