Bangladesh Names Squad for 2026 Asian Games T20 Cricket

Bangladesh has recalled senior batter Najmul Hossain Shanto to a 15-man squad for the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, with Litton Das returning as captain.

The team features a strong pace attack including Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, and Hasan Mahmud, while wicket-keeper Nurul Hasan has been excluded from the final selection.

As one of four seeded teams, Bangladesh will begin its campaign directly in the quarterfinal stage of the tournament, which is scheduled to commence on September 29.
