South Korea's education ministry announced plans to file criminal complaints against students caught cheating on national college entrance exams using smart glasses.
Under the proposed regulations, penalties for cheating with smart glasses will extend exam retake bans from one year to three years starting next year.
The tightening security measures follow recent instances of students caught using smart eyewear during university essay exams in Seoul.
