The War Wounded Foundation will take part in the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon for the first time on November 29, 2026, with disabled soldiers joining the run.
Among the participants is Nk. Ashok Kumar of 14 Mahar, who was classified as a battle casualty after enemy mortar fire struck both legs during Op Parakram in 2002.
Subedar Satbir Singh Chauhan and Ex Sepoy Rajesh Kumar, both battle casualties with service injuries, will also run to promote resilience and inspire others.
