Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) hosted an HIV/AIDS awareness program in Kalaburagi on Thursday as part of the AIDS Suraksha Abhiyan 2026.

The event, led by Vice-Chancellor S. Vidyashankar, featured technical sessions from ESIC Medical College experts on HIV transmission, prevention, and stigma reduction.

The program included the launch of an awareness poster and provided information on testing and support services available through Integrated Counselling and Testing Centres.
