Jharkhand Student Protests Continue Amid Government Talks

Protesting students in Jharkhand rejected government offers to end their agitation on Saturday, demanding the cancellation of the 14th Jharkhand PSC Civil Services Examination and other recruitment reforms.

A five-member government panel held two-hour talks with the JPSC JSSC Candidates' Forum, whose leader Devendra Nath Mahto has been on a hunger strike for seven days.

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) sent a delegation led by Mukesh and Akshay Shinde to Jharkhand to support the protesters, while student groups like NSUI and JCM submitted formal demands.
