Anthropic Unveils Claude Haiku 5.5 as Third AI Model Ahead of Planned IPO

Anthropic introduced Claude Haiku 5.5 on Wednesday, October 8, positioning it as the company's cheapest, fastest, and most capable small model for repetitive workloads.

Haiku 5.5 is priced at $0.10 per million input tokens and $0.50 per million output tokens, costing approximately 75 percent less to run than its predecessor, Haiku 4.5.
