Eight surrendered Maoist cadres in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar region cleared the Class 10 examination conducted by the Chhattisgarh State Open School in August.
The successful candidates, aged between 31 and 36, received financial assistance and books under the state government's surrender and rehabilitation policy.
Among them is 36-year-old Geeta Narote, a former medical team member who now aspires to complete further studies and train as a nurse.
